Chris Jasper is an American musician born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 30, 1951. He has a net worth of $6 million dollars and is best known for being a member of the Isley Brothers as well as Isley-Jasper-Isley.
Jasper’s music career began in 1969 after meeting and jamming with Ernie and Marvin Isley, his neighbors. The trio formed the band The Isley Brothers, and Jasper’s first studio appearance was on their album “It’s Our Thing.”
He left The Isley Brothers in 1984 to pursue the spin-off group Isley-Jasper-Isley, for which he sang on the hit single “Caravan of Love.” The band eventually dissolved, and Jasper began his solo career in 1988.
Jasper’s expertise includes vocals, keyboards, and the Moog synthesizer. He currently runs his own record label, Gold City Records, based in New York. In 1992, The Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Chris Jasper is currently married to his wife Margie and has three sons named Michael, Nick, and Christopher.
